STATE AGENCY TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO SMALL BUSINESSES

WISHA - Worker Safety and Health Regulations
The Department of Labor and Industries has a special program for technical assistance to assist employers in complying with the state's worker safety and health regulations.  The technical assistance representatives have no authority to issue fines or citations.  However, if they see a very serious violation which threatens to injure some at any time, they can require you to stop that activity until you have corrected the problem.  Ask for a "workplace consultation visit"  when you call.
